Yesterday, we took James to see his first movie in the theater. We went early in the day before lunch & nap time, and there were maybe only 10 other people there! It was awesome! And because we had 2 movie passes from a past Christmas we hadn't used yet, it was only $5.50 for the three of us!The Princess & the Frog was so cute! Because it is based in New Orleans, it was really cool for JJ. Luckily James is young enough though that the 'scary' parts did not bother him. He doesn't really get scared by monsters yet, so the voodoo shadow monsters didn't bother him at all. I could see how it might scare children that are a little older though. But, then again, all Disney movies have some death, dark, or scary parts to them, so maybe not. Regardless though, a very cute movie. And James keeps saying he wants to go back to 'Watch More Moomies'. We will definitely have to make it a regular outing!

That's so cool!! I've really been wanting to take Hayden to see a movie too, but Owen's not ready yet. Glad it went well.
