We have had a great weekend! We had our good friend Matt visiting from Houston, Tori & Baby Audrey visiting from Dallas, and Aunt Moozer & Uncle Cord from Kerrville! And we still have Jimmy coming in this evening! This was Misti's first visit to Louisiana, so we had to cram in as much Cajun & Creole as we could! This is the list of what she tried for the first time...Crawfish Poboy, Muffaleta, Boiled Crawfish, Red Beans & Rice, Dirty Rice, Cajun Catfish, King Cake, Crawfish Etouffee, & Drive thru Daiquiris. Surprise, surprise, she left here with a stomach ache this morning! We had bought some boudane for her to try, but we forgot to cook it-they took it home so she could try it later. We also went to the casino one night so she could play the slot machines and a little black jack. She definitely had beginner's luck because she did better than any of us.
