James apparently has learned two new words this week...Gross & Actually.
I gave him both strawberries & blackberries for a snack the other day, which he has had before so I knew he liked them both. James did you try the blackberries? 'Actually Mommy I ate the red ones'.
Goodnight James, Grammy is going to bed. 'Actually Grammy, Mommy & I are going to read some books.'
He spilled my coffee this morning. 'Oh, that's so gross.'
For those that are curious what is going on in our little corner of the world. We hope you enjoy!

2 Front Teeth
We are about 99% sure that Randi is cutting her two bottom teeth already. We can't feel anything, but we can see them, and she has had all the symptoms for about 2 weeks now. This is different for us, because like everything else, she is completely opposite from what James did. He did not cut his first tooth till he was 12 months, and it takes him MONTHS to cut a tooth. Hopefully her's will be quicker and easier for her.

4 month check-up
Randi had her 4 month check-up today. 14 1/2 pounds, 25 1/2 inches long. So far, looks like she will be tall & skinny like her brother. Everything else looks great, happy healthy little girl!

New Toys
James discovered earth worms today while JJ & I were working in the yard. He dropped the original one I gave him to play with, so then the hunt was on. We had to keep digging to find more 'Wormies'.

Projects
Now that I can help JJ, we have been doing a lot of projects around the house again. We let James help paint the walls in their room. He did not understand why only one wall was blue. He kept saying we needed to paint the other ones.
This horrible brown paint is the only 'flooring' in many rooms of the house, including the kid's room. The owner just pulled up the carpet and painted the slab with NON waterproof paint I might add! We found that out when the ceiling leaked and the 'floor' came off when we cleaned up the mess! Thanks to Papaw, the kids now have carpet in their room, that looks pretty good!
This hideous pumpkin orange is the actual finished product in our dining room that the owner thinks looks good! Needless to say, we covered it with carpet!
Finished Project pics to come soon! Both rooms are much better already, but I keep forgetting to take pictures!
