He really likes the bubbles, but he does not really like them on his hands, or on his toys.
For those that are curious what is going on in our little corner of the world. We hope you enjoy!

Oatmeal, the Breakfast of Champions
James is definitely a creature of habit. He eats oatmeal & sausage every morning for breakfast, and usually a banana too.

Loving the Wawer
James has really come to enjoy playing in the 'Wawer' (water). He is just like Owen & Hayden though. None of them run & play in it, they all have to pick it up and play with it. We try to play in it every afternoon when we can. In this first picture he is coming after me to 'wash Momma!'.

New Loves
Aunt Moozer has introduced James to many new things this summer. My family loves the tea at Taco Casa, and her & my dad, Moomers & PoPo, always come home with a Taco Casa cup. So, as soon as he sees her, James says, 'Moomer's Tea!!!'Yes, he had tasted sweet tea in the past, but he never had a full glass before. I have had to take away his sweet tea priveleges this past week though, because he was drinking so much that he wasn't falling asleep until around 11 pm!!!She has also introduced him to Skittles, Up N' Jacks (play place), and Bug Juice, a flavored juice drink that she buys for Kaycee.

James & Kaycee
We went to Amber & Sam's for dinner this week. James & Kaycee were watching Alvin & the Chipmunks and munching on chips, right before dinner of course.

Playing in the Sprinkler...Kind Of
Owen mainly tried to drink the water, and Hayden just kept squirting Owen in the face and getting in trouble. Boys!

'Reading' With Daddy
Bedtime had really become time with Daddy the past few months. Every night he wanted Daddy to read him his bedtime stories, and say his prayers with him. Well, that has obviously been interrupted the past couple of weeks. Aunt Moozer brought James these pictures of Daddy today, and he has had them all day since. When I told him to go find his 'sucker' and blanket for bed, and frantically ran around the house looking for the third picture of Daddy. He found it, jumped in bed, and arranged them just like this. He then said, "Daddy Books". I guess he knew that Daddy was reading with him from his heart! He also would not let me put them away when we finished. So, he is also sleeping with Daddy tonight.
Fun Day with Aunt Moozer
We started our day for lunch at Culver's. It is one of my favorite burger places to visit when I come home. I got James a fish filet & fries, but he only ate ketchup & tarter sauce! He ate fries later on our way home.
Aunt Moozer then treated him to Up 'N' Jacks. An indoor play place that is full of the giant bouncy houses. When they under 3, one adult can play with them for free. Since I am too big, Aunt Moozer got the honors. As you can see, he had an awesome time, and he wore Aunt Moozer out!!! We will be going back this afternoon, because the $5 admission is good for the whole day!! What an awesome place for little ones! And, you aren't sweating to death outside in the heat.Sweet Sleeping Boy

Fun at the Park
Uncle Michael's Birthday
Aunt Moozer brought James some Soy Icecream the day we got into town. That night, he literally ran laps around the sofa! This was at Uncle Michael's birthday party, where he had to be a big boy and eat his ice cream all by himself!

Saying Goodbye to Mimi & Poppy
Last Saturday, before James & I left for Texas, we took James to our favorite park in Shreveport. It was a beautiful day to play, and despite it being very crowded, he had great time. It also ran out some of his energy for our long drive to Round Rock.
