Moving Back to Texas!

JJ & I have been on the phone for about 2 days straight now spreading the news that we are moving back to Texas, to the Woodlands. He is going to be working at Jasper's again, and he is very excited about it. As it turns out, car dealerships don't really let you work out a notice, so yesterday ended up being JJ's last day of work here in Shreveport. We decided to take advantage of the unexpected time off with Daddy and have a picnic in the park this afternoon.

We will basically spend the entire weekend packing up the house and getting all of our stuff moved into a storage unit for a few weeks. James & I already had a trip to Kerrville planned, so we are just going to extend that trip and stay a few weeks longer while JJ works in The Woodlands to save money.

Update

James had a 2 week checkup today since his first allergy appointment. His doctor is very happy with his progress. His skin looks great, and he isn't scratching anymore. He does still have some random diaper issues, but he said that it is normal for it to take their little bodies a while to adjust to all the changes. We were also instructed to cook all his meals (even though we already were), and he doesn't want him eating any processed frozen foods. This only really takes away one thing from his current menu, some breaded fish fillets I would occassionally give him for lunch. So, no eating out for us for a few months. His goal is to have James' digestive system healed up and back to 'normal' before the next school year, so that any accidental slip ups won't be that big of a deal. Also, this should allow us to be able to occassionally eat out and again, it won't be as big of a deal if he accidently eats something he shouldn't. He did say that they normally do not retest to see if they have outgrown any of them until age 5! Oh well, it could always be worse I guess!

One Classy Kid

Well, once again Lightening McQueen is involved. The 'hat' is his bucket from Easter. He was riding the bike and dancing & clapping the ABC's. Oh, and chewing on that rubber dart again. He is still trying to cut those first molars. I believe you can see drool on the chin too.

Gifts from Grandparents

The shades are from Grandma & Grandpa (my parents), they came with a Spider Man fishing pole he got for Christmas. Recently he has worn them everywhere, and as you can see, he doesn't bother to take them off in doors.

The t-shirt is from Grammy, (JJ's mom). It has Lightening McQueen & Mater on it, and it lights up. So, even though it is a size 5t and hangs down past his knees, he still insists on wearing it.

Update

For those of you that I did not speak to on the phone today, though it seems like I was on the phone ALL DAY! Anyway, we had James' appointment this morning for his allergy testing. He is allergic to cow's milk, beef, chicken, baker's yeast (doughnuts, pizza crust, rolls), & grapes. Did you know that there is milk in taco seasonig mix? Found that out today during my 3 hours in Wal-Mart trying to figure out a completing new menu & shopping routine!

Afternoon at the Park

James loves playgrounds and will now point them out to me as we drive by. He really loves to slide, (without help of course!) and to ride the rocking animals.

New Stamping Blog Site

My new stamping blog is finally up & running. I did a blogger's boot camp with my business coach, and Misti helped me with the banner. It made it so easy! Check it out and let me know what you think! www.readyaimstamp.com. I am very proud of my new masterpiece!!

Big Boy Bed Time

James has always loved to have his Daddy read him his bedtime stories. They used to climb up on our bed and read a few of his favorites, but now they get to read in his bed. James has 4 different stuffed Mickeys, but two of them make noise, and one is very large. He of course wants to sleep with all of them now. We fought it for the first couple of nights, but it didn't matter. When we would get up in the morning, Big Mickey would be in his bed, so we decided to just to give in. It has been over a week now, and he is doing very well, he doesn't try to get up and play anymore.
