Enjoying the Yard

These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago, sorry I am behind on blogging. Very busy with my Stampin' Up! business! Anyway, JJ & I were raking the billions of leaves in the front yard-and thanks to Joe & Cindy's great Christmas gift, it didn't take us long. He got a new leaf blower/mulcher, and it is awesome! Anyway, I tried to get some pictures of James playing in the piles of leaves, but by the time I got the camera, he had moved on to flying again.

Love these pictures! He looks like an Osh-Gosh kid!

Hooray! Rachael & Dan are Engaged!

Rachael & Dan are engaged! Rachael & I have known each other since the 5th grade & she is my best friend in the whole world, and she is also James' Godmother. Dan is a very good friend of ours that we worked with at Jasper's. They met one weekend while Rachael & Misti were visiting us in Houston. (Rachael-if any of this is wrong please let me know!). They dated long distance for a while, and now live together in Dallas. JJ & I have always known that they were meant to be together, so we were both very excited when we heard the news! By the way, he proposed with his Grandmother's ring! How awesome is that! They have the wedding set for Fall 2010, and I can't wait! Congrats guys! We love you both so very much!

Family Photos

While in Kerrville, my sister, Misti, took our family photos. They turned out great! My favorite is actually one of us on the playground! You can check them out on her website.
And yes, that is me on her Home Page.

Daddy's Project Manager

James decided that, as usual, he needed to help Daddy with his project of putting together the new kitchen island. Needless to say, JJ was glad that it would soon be time for bath & bed (since he started this project after being at work all day).

'Hey look Mom, a slide'!

A slide just isn't a slide unless you try to go back up it the wrong direction!

The finished product. I love it, and don't know how I cooked without it before!

Pretty Pretty Princess

While in Kerrville, I was able to go to San Antonio with my Mom, Amber, Kaycee, & Misti so that Amber & Kaycee could pick out their dresses for Misti's wedding. Kaycee was very excited about the idea of playing princess dress up. She did very well and had a lot of fun. Before we went to the shop though, we went to IHOP for breakfast, and then to Target for a little shopping. It was a fun girls day out!

She did not like the sales lady touching her with the big clips.

A Boy of Many Mickeys

Since Christmas, James has been in Heaven with all of his Mickeys. No two are alike, which makes it even better. One is from his 1st birthday, the big one came from Santa Claus, the small one that talks came from his Aunt Charlie, and the other small one came from Grandma & Grandpa. Since it doesn't talk, this one has become his new sleeping buddy...along with Little Bob.

Trip to Kerrville

Sorry there are so few pictures here, I took these from Misti's Blog.
She is mailing me a picture cd from the trip. I don't know why, but every time we go there, I just flake out on the picture taking. This first one of James is one of my new favorites. We were exploring the house my dad is building, and he loved the stairs, all 3 floors of them!

All 3 boys in the tub together. (Owen, Hayden, & James).
