Mr. Personality

Sorry I haven't posted pictures in a while. His curls are really starting to become wild and unmanageable and he still has those blue/gray eyes that we have no idea where they came from.

We have been giving James his pacifier only when he goes to bed, because that is what they do at the day care. As you can see, he found an alternative. This is the lid to a toy sugar bowl.

James has been trying to walk more and more this week. He will take 5 or 6 steps before he falls or sits down.

Spaghetti & Meatballs Man!

Notice his bib says 'I didn't do it!' He still doesn't have any teeth, but that doesn't stop him from eating just about everything that we do.

He loved this box, and played in it for quite a while.

What's Up with Us

Sorry, I haven't blogged in a while. We have had a lot going on the past couple of weeks. First things first, I have to brag on JJ a bit. He started his new job at Holmes Honda last Monday which consists of a 4 week training period. His trainer and managers are so please with his progress, that they are going to let him out of training a full week early and let him get started on the sales floor. Not only that, but yesterday...on day 8 of training... he already sold his first car!! He didn't make much money on this sale, but he didn't care. He said that having that sale felt as good as the night he made $1100 in one night at Jasper's waiting tables. I started my new job at Calvary Baptist Day Care last week. It is ok. Very different from Mother's Day Out. But, it's helping us to get caught up, and it is only temporary. James hates it though. He did very well at MDO, but not at the daycare. He cries most of the day, he refuses to play on the floor, he doesn't eat very much for them, and he hardly sleeps while he's there. Hopefully, he will get more comfortable with it over the next few weeks. Last Wednesday, James started vomiting, and then had diarrhea. On Thursday, Joe, Cindy, James' Uncle Trae, and myself all had the same symptoms. James lasted until Sunday, as did most of ours. We are pretty sure it was Roto Virus, but we are not sure because the doctors didn't test any of us. We will be having two B-Day parties for James, one in Kerrville on June 28, and one here on July 4. So, expect your invites soon, and if you don't get one, (it's hard to remember everyone), please know that you are welcome to come. I will post pictures soon.
